The Center of Excellence for Research & Innovation in Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities (SoSieAtH) and GrantXpert Consulting are organizing the final conference for the presentation of the SENSEE - STEM Entrepreneurship for Everyone and Everywhere, on the 24th and 25th of May 2024, at the Cultural Center of the European University Cyprus.
SENSEE is an Erasmus+ funded programme that aims to promote the development of STEM and entrepreneurial skills and competencies of primary school students aged 6-12 who have limited learning opportunities. The SENSEE programme encourages students’ active participation in non-formal learning activities that combine educational experiences in STEM topics and entrepreneurial thinking. Additionally, it provides support to teachers and trainers on how to promote the development of STEM and entrepreneurial competencies of their students, especially for those who belong to disadvantaged groups (e.g., living in remote areas, etc.).
The conference theme is "non-formal and informal STEM and entrepreneurship education for primary school students".
The 1st part of the conference will take place on Friday afternoon, May 24, 2024, from 15:30 to 18:30, Cyprus time. It will include a keynote speech by the headmaster of Kattem Primary School in Norway, as well as a series of interactive workshops for teachers and trainers.
The 2nd part of the conference will take place on Saturday morning, May 25, 2024, from 08:40 to 12:30, Cyprus time. It will include 2 keynote speeches by experts in STEM and entrepreneurship education, as well as a new series of interactive workshops for teachers and trainers.
